Banana Cake with Crispy Plazma Crumbs

Prep Time - 90 min.

Preparation

Heat the oven 180°C. Line a 25x12 cm cake mold with baking paper. Chop the walnuts coarsely with a knife and then put 30 g on the side for the crumbs.

Cut the butter for the crumbs in cubes, and place it in a small bowl. Add the Plazma Ground and blend it with the butter so you get large crumbs. Put the bowl in the fridge so the crumbs don’t melt while you are preparing the cake.

In a large bowl, place the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and sugar and mix these dry ingredients well. Mash the bananas with a fork, and then add the butter you melted over low heat, milk, eggs and the dry ingredients mix. Use an electric mixer or a baking spoon to blend it all together and then add the chopped walnuts. Mix the dough thoroughly and transfer it into the cake mold. Take the crumbs out of the fridge, mix them with 30 g of chopped walnuts and apply it evenly over the surface of the dough that is in the cake mold. Put the mold in the oven for 55-60 minutes- until the toothpick test shows that the dough is done. If the crumbs start to gain color prematurely, cover the cake with aluminum foil. Take the baked cake out of the oven, leave it to cool for 5 minutes, then take it out of the mold and serve.
